Move Better. Breathe Deeper. Find Your Calm.
A simple, modern approach to Qigong…
with additional practices to support everyday life
WELCOME
Hi, I’m Sue Brian and I’m so glad you are here
If you’re feeling stressed or anxious, uncertain about what’s ahead, noticing more stiffness in your body, wanting to maintain or improve your balance, or simply feeling so busy that you’ve forgotten how to slow down and take a deeper breath, you’re in the right place.
I know many of those feelings personally. Qigong came into my life six years ago, at the lowest point in my health, and has helped me find more calm and balance, move with greater ease, breathe more deeply, and feel more at home in my body.
I created this website to be a place where you can learn about Qigong and B.A.S.I.C.S.+, or better yet, experience them for yourself.
“Don’t wait until your thirsty to dig the well”
~Chinese Proverb
This wise proverb reminds us that we don’t have to wait for a crisis to begin taking care of ourselves. Prevention really can be some of the best medicine we have. And it’s never too late to get started.
I am a firm believer that knowledge and skills should be passed on to others as a service to humanity. Imagine if all the teachers in our lives kept their wisdom and tools to themselves. That belief is a big part of why I teach and share what I’ve learned, and continue to learn. Qigong is still new to so many people, and I want to give you a place to expand your curiosity, explore at your own pace, and most of all, if it resonates with you, experience it for yourself.
My hope is simply that these practices help you find a little more peace in your heart, feel better and more connected to your body, and bring a bit more happiness and joy into everyday life.
Body • Mind • Spirit
Qigong brings body, mind, and spirit together in one gentle practice.
They are all essential to our well-being, and when one is out of balance, it can affect the others. We all know what it feels like when our body is hurting or simply doesn’t feel good…it can affect our mood, our thoughts, and even how we experience the day. And when our thoughts are spiraling down the rabbit hole, our emotions and our body often follow.
Qigong gives us a way to work with all of these parts of ourselves together, allowing each to support and uplift the others and helping us cultivate greater peace, balance, and well-being. (maybe i need to speak quickly about spirit….it can be your connection to the divine in whatever way speaks to you or it can be simply your higher conscousness)
Find what feels right for you
Both practices support you in moving and feeling better, but they take a slightly different approach.
